CONDITIONS OF ENTRY
HORSE RIDERS - Ride and Stride and Candover Ride Events
- All riders must wear approved crash hats and body protectors are strongly recommended.
- Horses and ponies must be 4 years old or over.
- All riders must check in the with the secretary on arrival, check in with the steward at the start of the course and at the end of the course.
- Dogs are not allowed on the course and must be kept on leads at all times in the car and lorry parking areas.
- Polite passing is allowed on the course.
- Riders are to stick to the marked course.
- Only riders are allowed on the horse course, no walkers nor cyclists.
- All riding participants have a duty of care to all other participants and should report any Health and Safety concerns to the organisers.
- Children under the age of 16 must be accompanied by an adult at all times.
- Children under the age of 16 must wear a RED wristband at all times; it is the responsibility of their responsible adult to write their mobile number on said wristband.
- The landowners and organisers accept no liability whatsoever for injury or damage incurred at the event to any person, horse or other property.
- Riders take part entirely at their own risk, and children, whether riding or not, are the sole responsibility of their parents or carers or responsible adults acting with the agreement of their parents or carers.
- The organisers accept no responsibility for damage to the participants property or animals at any time before, during or after the Event
- We expect all riders to abide by current advice for vaccinations and horse health and to be responsible for the health and wellbeing of their horse at all times. We are not able to check vaccination certificates nor passports.
- No drinking water is provided on site.
- All riders and anyone accompanying them must abide by any required social distancing or other covid protection measures which may be in place at the time of the ride. It is everyone’s individual responsibility to ensure their own health and minimise any risk to any others.
- All entries must be paid in full at the time of booking.
- There are no refunds unless Government Guidelines or Legislation prohibit the safe running of the Event. The Organising Committee reserves the right to make an administrative deduction to recover their costs.
WIELD WALK
- All walkers must keep to the marked walking route(s)
- All walkers should wear suitable clothing and footware
- Dogs must be on a lead at all times
- All dog mess must be put into poo bags and left in one of the clearly marked bins
- All walking/striding participants have a duty of care to all other participants.
- Children under the age of 16 must be accompanied by an adult at all times.
- The landowners and organisers accept no liability whatsoever for injury or damage incurred at the event to any person, dog or other property.
- Walkers take part entirely at their own risk, and children, whether walking/striding or not, are the sole responsibility of their parents or carers or responsible adults acting with the agreement of their parents or carers.
